I found "Utilitarianism" a very difficult read and I struggled to get through it for my Philosophy class at my uni. J. S. Mill delivered his views on freedom and democracy by putting human happiness at its foundation. Even after his spirit returned to heaven, he continues to look down upon the world and continues to pray that the spirit of freedom will not be extinguished.
